Our mission is based on Jesus’ mission for the church in Matthew 28: to make disciples. Everything we do as a church is rooted and grounded in our mission.

What matters most to us as a church? Were glad you asked!

The Word of God: The Bible is God’s inspired word to us. Because of this we love, read, and teach the Bible. We don’t think the Bible is boring or outdated. Instead we believe the Bible contains timeless truths that need to be explained and followed in our time.

The Person of Jesus: Jesus is alive. As such, he is the senior leader of our church, and he is the reason we worship, sing, preach, love, and gather together. At Faith we believe Jesus is God. Furthermore, we believe Jesus lived the life we were meant to live, he died the death we deserve and three days later he rose from the dead. Because Jesus lives today, hope, salvation and forgiveness can be found in him.

The Power of the Holy Spirit: Jesus promised to send a helper to empower his people to live as he lived. We depend on the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us. As a church, we know we need help, so we allow the Holy Spirit to help us live and love like Jesus.

The Mission of the Church: Jesus told the church to make disciples. Therefore, our mission is to help people develop a thriving relationship with Jesus. We do this passionately, purposefully, and unapologetically. Jesus told us to make disciples and we will do this until he returns or takes us home.

The Family of God: We believe God the Father adopts people to be part of his forever family - the church. Because of this, at Faith we strive to function as a family – meaning we look for gifted men to lovingly lead as elders and pastors, we call everyone to serve and give because we all have an important place in the family, and we care for, listen to and love one another like Jesus cares for, listens to and loves the church.

The Next Generation: Jesus told us that one day our race will be run. Because of this truth, we strive to consistently pass on the baton of our faith to the next generation. This means we make room at Faith for young leaders to lead, gifted teachers to teach and new churches to form. Additionally, this means we hold loosely to our methods while holding very tightly to these beliefs that matter most to us.
